About Our Wedding Venue

The Retreat at Hillside Hideaway is different than the “typical” wedding venue in quite a few ways.  For starters, instead of providing you with the three standard event spaces (Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception) – we give you five.  This means you’re not limited to our pre-set event flow, you can use our spaces in whatever manner and whatever order that you want.  You might want to get married under the white pergola and large oak trees, while someone else may want an inside ceremony.  Or perhaps you’d prefer to have cocktail hour around the pool and on the putting green, while someone else wants to sip drinks by our signature candle wall.  No two couples are alike, no two weddings are alike, and our venue is not alike.  If you’re looking to get a little creative, and if you want to do things a little differently, then take a tour of The Retreat and let’s see what we can do together!  

About The Spaces

The Retreat features five unique event spaces, each one with its own style and personality. You can use each of these spaces in whatever manner you want, and in whatever order you want. Three of our spaces are fully outdoors, one is covered, and one is fully indoors. We think that is pretty cool, enjoy the beauty of being in South Florida without the “risk” of being in South Florida. The tone of our spaces is “natural-romantic”, with a touch of tropical, and a hint of modern influence. So whether you’re planning something that is fun, breezy, and outdoors, or something that is fancy, intimate, and elegant. Our spaces and layout offers the perfect foundation for you to build your dream wedding.

The Main House

The Main House features 5 bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, and kitchen, and billiards room, and an open-air courtyard in the center. The Main House can sleep between 10 to 14 guests, and is located towards the front of the property. Typically on event days this area is used as the Bridal Suite, with the groomsmen using the Luxury RVs.

The Luxury RVs

The Retreat features two Luxury RVs which are located towards the back of the property, each one sleeping up to 6 guests. We promise that you’ll be surprised as you step into each of these spaces; each one includes a dining area, a kitchen area, a bathroom with a shower, a bedroom with a King sized bed, and a little staircase that leads to a loft with a twin bed.
